A River Runs Through It
A Lazy River is ideal for homeowners wanting a one-of-a-kind, multifunctional pool to serve as an entertainment venue that is classy and elegant enough to serve family, friends and even business associates.
We design every poolscape to integrate into the environment, including trees, buildings, slopes, or hillside, to create a natural landscape exactly on par with the homeowner's desires.
In the example shown, we made full use of the existing hillside to produce a natural, non-conforming setting, especially with the integration of a waterfall and native plant species.
To further the natural theme, our design team used all-natural boulders and stones. Once completed, the pool appeared as if it were created by nature.
In this case, to create a truly unique poolscape that was both individualistic and natural, we incorporated a lazy river into the perimeter of the pool.
The river generates a slow current, just enough to allow people to gently ride along on a raft. This river, in combination with the island and waterfall, brought the original motif full circle.
At night, lighting also plays an important part. In the past, "lighting" consisted merely of underwater fixtures. Technology has come a long way since then. Pool lighting is revolutionizing backyard design, and we are on the cutting edge. We use bulbs that live up to 100,000 hours. We can even create glowing walls of underwater bubbles.
